A Personal Hello from the Founders of Storyvangelist

TAMI: Hi, it's Tami Csakany, co-founder of Storyvangelist and here with me is the other co-founder, my husband, Nate. And, first off, we're so glad you're here! Whether one of us handed you a business card, gave you a copy of one of our novels, like An Echo of the Silence, or maybe you simply stumbled across us online, we'd love to take just a couple of minutes to tell you what Storyvangelist is all about. Because, honestly, we're quite different than any other publisher out there.

NATE: Yes, absolutely. In most of the publishing world, books are simply sold. At Storyvangelist novels are sent. In fact, every Storyvangelist novel has already been paid for by a family of supporters who passionately believe that stories can change lives. That means when one of our books finds its way into your hands, it wasn't primarily purchased. It was gifted. Intentionally. Because someone you've never met believes that your story matters. We like to call our books itinerant novels that find you. Stories that travel from person to person until they find the readers who need 'em the most. And maybe that's why this book found you, or why we connected.

TAMI: But the unique part isn't just how the books travel. It's what can happen after you read 'em. You see, at Storyvangelist, we believe the single most important chapter of a story isn't always the last one in the book. Sometimes it's the chapter that begins in the reader – afterwards. When you read a novel like mine, An Echo of the Silence, you're following Ruby's journey as she asks a question many of us have quietly wondered ourselves: "Who am I, really?" As she begins exploring her family story, her memories, and the things that shaped her life, most readers discover something very unexpected. They start becoming curious about their own story. And that's where the adventure really begins.

NATE: Yeah. And that's where our little catch phrase at Storyvangelist comes in:"The WHO Behind YOU." It's a simple idea. See, most of us know the version of ourselves we've presented to the world. But underneath that person is another story. The deeper story. The experiences, relationships, losses, hopes, and moments that shaped us into who we've become. And, sometimes understanding that story helps us discover the person we've been looking for all along. That's the WHO behind YOU.

TAMI: And here's something we've learned over the years. People are often incredibly kind to everyone except themselves. So we encourage a very different approach. Curiosity. Not judgment. Not blame. Just gentle curiosity. What happened? Why did it matter? What shaped me? What might I understand differently today? Because when we get curious about our own story, we'll very often discover meaning, and healing, and who we are, and purpose in places that we never really expected. That's the WHO behind YOU. And if you received a copy of An Echo of the Silence, I hope you'll read it with a simple question in mind: "What part of Ruby's story reminds me of my own?" You might be surprised by what you discover.

NATE: So, thanks for spending a few minutes with us. You can contact us with the form below and let us know how we can serve you.

TAMI: And, we're honored that our paths have crossed. Whether you're just beginning your journey or have been asking these questions for years, we hope you'll join with us in discovering...

TOGETHER: The WHO Behind YOU!

NATE: Kind of sounds like a Dr. Suess book, doesn't it?

(laughter)

The Storyvangelist History

The Storyvangelist was founded by the constantly creative Csakany duo—Tami and Nate—after almost four decades of walking alongside creatives through theirauditions work with Incubator Creative Group. Their focus was never just on the art itself, but on helping individuals uncover their story, find their voice, and create meaningful impact through it. Over time, they began to notice something deeper—stories don’t stay still. When shared in honest and personal ways, they have a way of traveling—reaching people at just the right moment, opening conversations, and creating connection in ways that are both simple and profound.

As their work with Incubator Creative Group came to a close in 2026, a new chapter began to take shape. Today, the Csakanys are focused on helping transformational fiction stories move beyond the page into the lives of individuals. Through Storyvangelist, they are building a growing, community-supported movement that creates intentional moments where people can reflect and connect through story. What began as creative work has become something more—stories being carried, shared, and experienced together, one connection at a time.

An Echo of the Silence

An Echo of the Silence is a novel about Ruby—a woman shaped by the quiet, often unseen moments of her life. The things left unspoken. The questions she didn’t always know how to ask. The experiences that stayed with her long after they passed.

As Ruby begins to look more closely at her story, something shifts. What once felt isolated begins to feel familiar—not just to her, but to others. Women recognize pieces of their own story in hers. Not because the details are the same, but because the emotions underneath connect in ways that are both honest and deeply human.

That’s why this story doesn’t stay in one place. It has a way of traveling—finding its way into the hands of women who may be ready to reflect on their own story, just a little more closely. It is shared freely, carried by those who believe stories are meant to be given, not kept.
